Job Description:

As a Data Engineer within Team Atlas you will contribute to the design/development of services and support for Business Intelligence and data analytics solution/s using MS Azure and Power BI stack. You will join a small scrum team who work on reporting solutions to support the analytical and decision making requirements of the Department along with providing the necessary operational support necessary to deliver a high quality service to end users. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. The role:
Implement, manage, investigate, support and enhance existing dev and production data analytics projects, primarily in Azure Synapse and PowerBI tools
Analyse and profile data to ensure data quality and system integrity
Knowledge and experience with enterprise data modelling and system architecture
Functional management and participate in ??Colleague of the Day?? support roster (9-5, rotating).

Coach junior team members

Must have:
Strong knowledge about DevOps process (Git, CI/CD, YAML pipelines)
Azure Synapse and Data Factory (Pipelines & Data Flow)
Azure SQL server
Experience with data modelling
Good knowledge of Azure services ADLS gen2
Log Analytics Workspace
Security (Virtual Networks, Firewall and IAM)
Azure Resource Manager templates (ARM)
Azure Active Directory
API Development (Software Engineering background)
Strong coding skills (Python preferably)
Good knowledge of Bash or PowerShell

Nice to have:
Power BI dashboarding
Debugging Azure services from Activity Logs, Metrics, etc.
Experience with Data Management topics like Data Governance, Data Privacy, Data Access
Experience with Machine learning methodologies
Scrum and DevOps methodologies
